I always craved sugar and seemed to have a lingering hunger that reared its head about the same time I had to clean up my kids’ left over chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese—incidentally they never made it into the garbage! I’m also a very bad pre-planner of menus, and even when Ive tried, I’ve always longed for something that tastes like real food.
Then Lindsay started to cook for me, and she taught me how a well-balanced and thoughtfully planned menu can diminish cravings, make me feel satiated and actually taste so yummy!
With Lindsay, it hasn’t been about cutting flavor, carbs, calories or even portions. It’s about being more mindful of my food choices and understanding how food combinations work together to provide more efficient fuel for my body. In the first two weeks, I’ve lost 8 pounds, and I’m still able to eat with my kids on the weekend and have an evening cocktail or even two!
